Tips for pool opening..........

The opening process begins the moment the pool is closed. By keeping an eye on the pool and winter cover. Snow or rain can raise the water level or sink the cover. Since heavy debris can fall in, it is better to remove it immediately than wait for spring.

When the warm weather comes, you'll want your swimming pool to be ready for use, don’t wait till the first hot day to get your pool open and ready, it will take some time to get it up, running and prepare for swimming.

The first order of pool opening would be to give the cover a good cleaning, cleaning your pool cover will increase the longevity as well as reducing the need to do it when it comes time to close your pool.

Inspect your Equipment

After removing your pool cover, before starting everything up, you will want to give your equipment a good inspection. Look for loose fittings, wear and tears. Take a look at your filter and pump to make sure they are free of obstructions. Prime the pump and fire it up.

Scrub and Vacuum

Give the walls of your pool a good scrub to remove any dirt that stuck to it over the winter. Get the dirt down to the bottom of pool and manually vacuum as robotic may clog often due to debris and dirt. Do not forget to rinse your filters.
